Earlier this month, on groundhog day, Phil told us it would be four weeks until PROM season - and he was right!
Starting tomorrow, March 1st, we are ending our winter hours and going back to our normal schedule - with some added hours now on Wednesday and starting later this month we will be open on Sundays! Full hours below:
MONDAY: 10am - 6pm
TUESDAY: CLOSED
WEDNESDAY: 1 pm - 6 pm
THURSDAY: 10 am - 7 pm
FRIDAY: 10 am - 6 pm
SATURDAY: 10 am - 4 pm
SUNDAY: 1 pm - 4 pm (beginning March 17th)
This year for prom season we're having a little fun and giving away some cash! It's our "Prom Payback" contest for all of the Wichita city schools - here's how it works: The school that has the most students rent a suit or tuxedo from Accent Bridal & Tux for prom wins $10 for each rental towards their school's after-prom party. So, 50 tuxedos rented = $500 for the winning school.
The contest is open to all USD259 schools. Winner will be announced April 1st, and as of right now Wichita West High is in the lead - Way to go Pioneers!
As many of you may already know, our owner, Miss Tammy, has been dealing with severe back pain since about mid-August. It has caused us to be closed on a few occasions, sometimes with little or no warning, and we sincerely apologize for any inconveinience this may have caused. It's led to one or two negative reviews online by people who showed up expecting us to be open, but it simply couldn't be avoided. All of our fall wedding parties have been very understanding and accommodating when it came to making arrangements for alternate pick up and return times, and we are so grateful for that.
Tammy will be having surgery this week, so we will be closed from Tuesday, December 19th until Thursday, January 4th to give her plenty of time to rest and recover. Please keep her in your thoughts, and we look forward to serving all your formal wear needs in the coming new year.
